I recently visited the Riverside Mission Inn. I dressed resort casual in a Vineyard Vines plaid shirt, high-waisted shorts, navy and white stripped wedges, and a matching belt. The Mission Inn is beautiful and whimsical with flower adorned balconies, terraces, and fountains. At Christmas time, they cover the property in thousands of Christmas lights in a celebration they call The Festival of Lights. The night after Thanksgiving, they turn the lights on for the first time and do a spectacular fireworks show. Many street vendors and performers line up outside of the hotel. It's a wonderful way to kickoff the holiday season while still enjoying warm weather!
